Polish & Co Review

Hello My Smitten's

Today I am thrilled to review the North Carolina based nail polish company, Polish & Co.  I am certainly open to reviewing products however, I do not do many reviews.  In my slacker time (when I am supposed to be doing something productive for school but instead I browse the wonderful world of nail polish) I came across this article from Teen Vogue on Ten Indie Nail Polish Brands to Try .  I was extremely excited to see the Greensboro, North Carolina company Polish & Co on that list.  I knew I had to have their polish!  I checked out their  website (http://polishandcompany.com) and Facebook Page and I was sold.  I ordered two polishes.  The website describes the polish:

Polish & Co's formulas are non-toxic and each is a Paraben, DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free nail polish. We've created a unique formula that removes all of the toxins but has color that lasts long, looks vibrant and is chip resistant on natural nails. So if you're looking for a non-toxic nail polish that is available in today's hottest shades, look no further than the Polish & Co nail polish collection!

Polish & Co's polishes retails at $12.00 for a .5oz bottle.  The polishes have the prettiest colors and the most awesome names like Bless Her Heart (now that's southern for you) Oh Hell No, and Bout That Life.  I purchased Cash Only and Recycle Me.

Polishes Used: Polish & Co Cash Only and Recycle Me, Base Coast: Orly Nail Armor, Top Coats: INM Out The Door and Poshe Top Coat

First up Cash Only: Orly base coat, one coat of polish, no top coat

Let me just say that application of these polishes was an enjoyable experience.  The formula is close to perfect.  The polish glided on with no problems and was opaque in one coat.  I really can't judge on dry time because I was very engaged in catching up on my DVR shows so I lost track of time.  This color is a beauty I love it!

Next up Recycle Me: Orly base coat, one coat of polish, no top coat

Same as Cash Only, I did not have any application problems with Recycle me.  Absolute Perfection!

I did a gradient with each polish.  Awesome combinations!

One top coat of Out The Door then another with Poshe.

In conclusion, I love, love, love Polish & Co's polishes. The formula is perfect, the colors are vibrant and beautiful and the names are catchy.  While they are a bit pricy at $12 for an Indie Brand, you get a full bottle of polish and with the quality, it is well worth it!  I will definitely be getting more of these polishes!

I purchased these polishes; they were not provided by the company.

Thanks For Stopping by :)
