Today I have a new to me indie brand Disturbing Behavior.  I found this brand on Instagram.  Disturbing Behavior has the prettiest glitter polishes I have ever seen.  I totally fell in love with this brand.  I now own about 8 of their polishes.  Today I am showing you Cootie Quat.  The formula was extremely thick thus making it very difficult to apply the polish.  I did not thin the polish this time but I will definitely need to thin it before I use it again.  Aside from that, this polish is a beauty.

Today I have a new to me Indie Brand, Polish Addict Nail Color.  I found this Indie brand on Instagram.  I love most all of their polishes and now I have 12 bottles Wowzers!  I think it is safe to say this has become my favorite Indie Brand.  

Incomplete Skittle Mani

Today I have an incomplete mani.  

It was around Easter and I wanted to do a multicolor (skittle) mani with dots using my dotting tool.  I was over my friends house and we were going out later that evening.  He didn't tell me that he wanted to run some errands before hand.  I sat down to do my nails and he started in on my nerves.  You're doing your nails again?  But your nails looked good before you took the polish off.  Are you done yet? What else do you have to do?  He was completely stressing me out and nail time is happy time for me so I literally stopped in the middle of my mani, snapped a few pictures and that was it.  At this point I don't remember what polishes I used so my apologies all I have for you today are a few pictures of a skittle mani.

Polish Days - The Number 5

I am here with May's Polish Days Mani.  The Theme this month is The number 5.  How odd right; I know!  But I must say Polly Polish did a wonderful job at guiding the thought process.

Now, the number 5 is very significant to me and it happens to be my favorite number.  

See, I'm in a national public service sorority and my line number is 5.  I could have based a mani off of that because it makes sense right?  Exactly, that wouldn't make sense to many people therefore I did not want a lack of understanding behind the mani to interfere with the beauty of it.  

After much thought I decided to create 5 mani's in 1.  I used 5 different looks, 5 different mani's and made it 1.  Okay, okay, I have talked long enough.  On to the mani(s).  Heads up, this is very picture heavy (I mean it is 5 mani's in 1).  

Parisian Beauty Black Tie Optional

Today I have a mani that I absolutely loved!   I found a four pack of these Parisian Beauty polishes on sale at Belk (you can see another polish from the pack here).  The four pack included a pink, nudes and a chocolate polish.  This pink beauty is Sorbet.  To add some pizazz to the mani I topped it with Hard Candy Black Tie Optional. 

Mod Lacquer: Salida Del Sol

Today I have Salida Del Sol, the 3rd polish from the Mod Lacquer's Southwest Spring Collection.  

Salida Del Sol is described as: 

Salida Del Sol is a pale warm yellow sheer base with a variety of colors and different sizes of glitter.

This polish is a beauty just like the others (you can see the other polishes here and here ) but I did not like it on me.  Despite that, application was smooth and it was opaque in 3 coats.

Uptown Bling

Oooo do I have some bling for you!

I call this Pink Beauty Uptown Bling for the polishes used, Maybelline Rose Bling and NYC Uptown.

I'm so happy that I can finally share this mani with you.  See, I have a lot of mani's on my computer ready to go and sometimes I get a head of myself.  When I get a new polish and I swatch it I sometimes sooooo want to post it the same day.  The problem with that is that other mani's end up getting lost and sometimes never posted.  To avoid this I have come up with a simple system; I post mani's in the order that they are saved on my computer.  My system sucks big time buuuuuut it's necessary.  Anyway enough of my rambling.  On to some Uptown Bling. 

Square Hue Wartime Romance

Today I have some Romance for you.  I actually thought this color was pukey ugly in the bottle (sorry).  I literally had to make myself swatch Square Hue's Wartime Romance.  I am so happy that I did because it wasn't so bad on my nails.  I am not like in Love with it or anything but it works.  I can't say that I would ever wear this polish again but at least I got some compliments from my co-workers when I wore it.  I guess that counts for something...

Today I am thrilled to review the North Carolina based nail polish company, Polish & Co.  I am certainly open to reviewing products however, I do not do many reviews.  In my slacker time (when I am supposed to be doing something productive for school but instead I browse the wonderful world of nail polish) I came across this article from Teen Vogue on Ten Indie Nail Polish Brands to Try .  I was extremely excited to see the Greensboro, North Carolina company Polish & Co on that list.  I knew I had to have their polish!  I checked out their  website (http://polishandcompany.com) and Facebook Page and I was sold.  I ordered two polishes.  The website describes the polish:

Uninspired Liberation

Today's Mani totally uninspired me.  I really don't like reds on my nails so nothing creative was coming to mind when I was trying to name this post.  Uninspired it is!  I must admit the color is very pretty and it has a hint of shimmer that I love but it still does nothing for me. For the accent nails I literally put drops of different polishes on my nails and swirled them around with a brush.  It was actually quite liberating.  Hmm, that would have been a good name for this post. 

Sedative

Today I have a sedative for you, Parisian's Meringue.  I named this mani Sedative because it is a calming nude Mani.  Parisian is a new brand to the blog.  I found this polish 4 pack on sale at Belk Department Store.  It was nudes and browns.  Very lovely polishes if I must say so myself.  It seems to me that these polishes can only be found at Belk.  I will definitely be going back to purchase more in different shades.

 I've been so busy lately that when all of my goodies come in the mail I just put them in a neat pile in the corner. The scary thing is, they can potentially stay there for weeks.  I believe this pile was there for 3 weeks (yikes!).
